PERRY, MARION PETERSON 

Retired schoolteacher of St. Mary Parish for 33 years and wife of the deceased 
Coach Albert Prince Perry Sr., Mrs. Marion Peterson Perry, 61, a resident of 
Franklin, died Saturday, December 24, 2011, at 12:50 a.m., at Our Lady of 
Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette following a short illness.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Gary Kinte’ Perry of New Orleans; one brother, 
Bruce U. Peterson of Baton Rouge; and three sisters, Annie L. McCoy of Baton 
Rouge, Eula L. Peterson and Margrette A. Peterson, both of Los Angeles, 
California.

Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her parents, husband one brother.

Visitations will be observed Friday, Dec. 30, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the 
Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin.

Burial rites will be read Friday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with Pastor Allen 
R. Randle Sr. officiating. 
Entombment will follow in the Franklin Mausoleum.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
