Barbara Blanco Suarez, 68, a native and lifelong resident of Morgan City passed 
away, Monday, December 26, 2011 at the Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan 
City.

Barbara is survived by her son, Freddy Bazor of Patterson; her two brothers, 
Ronald Blanco Sr. and his wife, Jessie of Bayou Vista, and Earl Blanco and his 
wife, Mary, of Morgan City; four nephews, Earl Blanco Jr., Gene Blanco, 
Clarence Blanco, and Ronald Blanco Jr.; four Nieces, Mathilda Blanco, Penny 
Hatcher, Amber Blanco, Casey Blanco; and one grandson, Devin Metrejean of 
Patterson and another grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Anthony Blanco and Lorena 
Rhodes Blanco.

Barbara was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She will be missed 
by all who knew and loved her.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Thursday, December 29, 2011 
from 6pm to 9pm with a rosary being prayed at 7pm at Hargrave Funeral Home in 
Morgan City. Visitation will resume at Hargrave Funeral Home on Friday, 
December 30th at 8am until time of dismissal.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 2pm at 
St. Stephens Catholic Church in Berwick.
