Rhea was a native of Morgan City, Louisiana, she resided in Westwego, Louisiana for 32 years, then moved to Bayou L’Ourse, Louisiana. Beloved wife of Jeffrey J. Arcemont, Jr. for over 56 years. Mother of Celeste Tabor (Wally), Minette Hughes (Ray), Jeffrey Arcemont, III (Lisa). Grandmother of Jason Tabor, Angela Tabor Pellegal, Alexis, Analiese and Ava Arcemont. Great-grandmother of Jacob Pellegal. Sister of Allison “Webster” Cook, III, Errol Cook (Joan) and Paul Cook (Karen). Sister-in-law of Alvin Arcemont (Lana) and Ken Arcemont (Cheryl). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rhea was preceded in death by her mother, Isabel Martin Cook, her father, Allison Webster Cook Jr., her sister, Joycelyn Cook Callahan, her Father-in- law, Jeffery Arcemont, Sr., her Mother-in-law, Hortense Davis Arcemont and her sister-in-law LaVerne Arcemont Guarisco. Rhea served as a Reader of the Sacred Scripture and a Eucharistic Minister for the Catholic Community of St. Philomena, Labadeville, Louisiana. She also served as a Poll Commissioner-In-Charge for Assumption Parish. Family and friends of St. Philomena Church, City of Bayou L’Ourse, Mo’s Pizza, City of Westwego, St. Matthew the Apostle Church are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Twin City Funeral Home, 412 4th Street, Morgan City, Louisiana on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am. Interment to follow at Morgan City Cemetery.
