BEGNAUD, TAMMYE LYNN TOMLINSON 

Funeral services for Tammye Lynn Tomlinson Begnaud, 51, were held at 2 p.m. 
Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Bro. Dave Rousse 
officiating. 
Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and 
resumed Monday at 8 a.m. until just prior to service time. 
Interment followed 
services at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

A native of El Dorado, Ark., and a longtime resident of Broussard, Miss Begnaud 
passed away at 4:55 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at her daughter’s 
residence in Broussard.

Tammye was known for never having met a stranger and was known by “everyone in 
town.” She was involved with her children’s sports activities for more than 15 
years, served on the board of BYYA Parks and Recreation and was known for 
helping others before helping herself. She was also a loving mother, “MiMi” and 
the “very best friend ever,” who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandy Broussard and her husband Dallas Jr. of 
Broussard; a son, Lance Begnaud II also of Broussard; two granddaughters, 
Taylor Broussard and Lori Broussard, both of Broussard; a grandson, Tyler 
Broussard of Broussard; her mother, Constance “Connie” Hawkins Tomlinson of 
Shreveport; a sister, Pamela Cuvillier and her husband Red of Patterson; a 
brother, Jack L. Tomlinson Jr. of Conway, Ark.; two nephews, Robert Burns Jr. 
and his wife Christie of Zachary and Comile Cuvillier and his wife Lindsey of 
Patterson; and one uncle, Randal Tomlinson and his wife Judy of Calion, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack L. Tomlinson Sr., and her 
grandparents.

Serving as pallbearers were Comile Cuvillier, Robert Burns Jr., Neal Begnaud 
Sr., Neal Begnaud Jr. and Richard Baker.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tyler Broussard.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to defray the cemetery 
expenses.
