GRIFFIN, LORRINE BOURGEOIS 

Lorrine Bourgeois Griffin on Monday, January 16, 2012 while in St. Louis, 
Missouri, passed into everlasting peace at age 89. She was a native of 
Verdunville and a long time resident of New Orleans.

She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Griffin and the late Dudley D. Verdun 
and daughter of the late Albert Bourgeois and Bessie Pellerin Bourgeois.

Mrs. Griffin was the beloved mother of Tracy T. Griffin, Gina C. Griffin, the 
late Cynthia Verdun Dejan and the late Elaine A. Verdun; sister of Shelby 
(Marguerite) Bourgeois, Marie (Bill) Verdun, Merlin Bourgeois, Betty (Jay) 
Nelson, Thomas (Margie) Bourgeois, the late Theresa Bourgeois, David Bourgeois, 
Alfred (Bobbi) Bourgeois, Howard (Francis) Bourgeois, Shirley (Murphy) Walker, 
Albert (Alberta) Bourgeois; and the beloved grandmother of Allen Dejan Jr.

She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 
Immaculate Conception Church, 980 Verdunville Rd., Centerville, on Friday, 
January 20, 2012, at 10 a.m.

Visitation will be at the church, from 9 a.m. until service time. Entombment 
will be in All Saints Mausoleum in New Orleans.

Lawn Lake Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
