Claudia Dell Gunner, age 73, a resident of Verdunville, La., died Friday, 
January 13th, 2012 at her residence at 5:35 PM.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Nazarene Baptist Church in 
Verdunville, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Claudia Dell Gunner, “Waud”, as affectionately called by her children was born 
in Bayou Sale, Louisiana to the late Issac, Sr. and LuCinda Griffin Gunner on 
July 19, 1938.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Eric Gunner, Sr., 
Wilbert Gunner, and Jeff Gunner, Sr.; six sisters: Daisy Gunner, Hazel Gunner 
Cage, Mariah Gunner Matthews, Carrie Gunner Chatman, Alene Gunner Campbell, and 
Dorothy Gunner Sibley.

Claudia Dell Gunner leaves to mourn her children: Eddie Wayne Gunner Campbell 
(Clarissa) of Beaumont, TX; LuCinda Campbell Parker (John) of Patterson, LA; 
Kennedy Earl Gunner (Bridgette) of Franklin, LA; Tonya Denise Gunner of 
Verdunville, LA; Ronald Keith Gunner (Catrina) of Lafayette, LA; Chadwick Keith 
Gunner (Shanelle) of Houston, TX; one sister: Eura Mae Gunner Williams of 
Verdunville, LA; one brother: Levi Gunner Sr. (Hildred) of Verdunville, LA; 
goddaughter/niece: Shelley Wiggins; three devoted nieces: Vicky Williams 
Burrell, Shanna C. Burrell and Denise Gunner, one devoted nephew: Russell 
Gunner, Sr., grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and 
friends.
