Dorothie was born March 25, 1934, in Cow Island, Louisiana; she was the daughter of Clance Broussard and Ozite Guidry Broussard. Mrs. Jones, is survived by her husband, of 58 years Harold Jones; three daughters, Ramona Wigington and her husband, Scott; Rhonda Burtner and her husband Dave; Rosalind Jones; one son Danny DeRouen and his wife Debbie; 11 grandchildren; Heath Jones and his wife Jessica; Gaylon Diedling and her husband Brian; Tommy Wells; Hayley Alpha; Harold Alpha; Tamara Wells; Hannah Fairley and her husband Daniel; Taylor Burtner and his wife Megan, Danielle Comeaux and her husband Ryan, Todd DeRouen, and Michael DeRouen; 11 great grandchildren, Breanna and Brock Jones; Eden Failey, McKayla, Cheyenne , Connor and Paityn Wells; Jose "Joe" Perou and Jace LaViolette; and Rylie and Demi Comeaux. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Lou Richard and her husband Herman; Roberta Sexton and her husband Edward; and a brother Clevelin Broussard and his companion Anita; and her close friends Diane and Dan Irwin,several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Norris and Nodley Mark Broussard; a sister Blanche Jeanette Hall; a nephew Danny Broussard; a niece Paulette Broussard. Visitation for Dorothie will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2012 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6 pm until 9 pm, with Rosary services at 6:30 pm. Visitation will resume Wednesday January 4, 2012 at 10 am at Hargarve Funeral Home until 1:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church at 2 pm. Dorothie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
