Herbert Jones, Sr., age 86, a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died 
Sunday, January 8th, 2012 at 5:10 PM at his daughter's residence in Morgan 
City, La

Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Church of Christ on Railroad 
Ave, from 10:00 AM until funeral at 1:00 PM. 
Burial will be in the Greenwoods Cemetery.

Herbert leaves to cherish his memories; three sons, Herbert Jones, Jr., of 
Bayou Vista, La., Lloyd M. Jones and Troy L. Jones both of Morgan City, La; 
nine daughters, Tessie Brown , Rose Harvey and Sandra (Raymond) Jones all of 
Patterson, La., Wanda (Henry) Brown, Mary Jones, Gwendolyn Jones, Tena (Troy) 
Jones and Gina (Clemous) Mingo all of Morgan City, La., Constance Jones of 
Houston, TX; two brothers, Charles Jones and Clarence Jones, Sr., both of 
Morgan City; three sisters, Geraldine Morse, Myrtle Lee Bergeron and Edwina 
Jones all of Morgan City; forty-six grandchildren, fifty-two great 
grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Elizabeth Smith 
Jones.
