Catherine Bergeron Kidd, of Morgan City , died Tuesday, January 31st at Morgan 
City Healthcare Center. 

Born November 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Bergeron, Sr. 
and Elizabeth Rentrop Bergeron. 

In addition to her parents Mrs. Kidd was also preceded in death by her husband, 
Roland Kidd, daughter Debra Kay Kidd, daughter-in-law Rebecca (Becky) Sutton 
Kidd, as well as one sister Elizabeth (Beth) Burquist, and five brothers, 
Oliver (Twist), Laurie, Sheldon (Shulu) Robert (Bob), and Jason (Jake).

Catherine was a lifelong resident of Morgan City and a member of Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church. 
She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy.

She is survived by four sons, Roderick Drews Kidd, Sr., and his wife, Patti 
Martin of Dumfries, VA., Keith Patrick Kidd, and his wife Sara Manfre of Morgan 
City, Kim Michael Kidd of Poche Bridge, LA., and Coye Brian Kidd and Bradley 
Scott Bollinger of Conover, NC. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Erin 
Chamberlin and husband Richard, Roderick Kidd, Jr., Hollyn Kidd Schuemann and 
husband Vance, Ashlyn Kidd Bergeron and husband Nick, Morgan Kidd Trowbridge 
and husband Toby, Joshua Kidd and Jennifer Guilbeau, Megan Kidd, Elise Kidd and 
Brian Kidd, as well as five great-grandchildren, Toby, Rebecca, Jaden , 
Catherine and Charlotte.

Catherine is also survived by her brothers Patrick (Pat), Edwin (Ed) of Morgan 
City and Anthony (Sonny) and wife Patricia (Pat) of New Orleans, and sisters 
Joyce Buford, Joan Michel and her husband Calvin of Kaplan and four sister-in-
laws, Margie Kidd Price, Carol Bergeron, Marion Bergeron and Sharon Bergeron 
all of Morgan City.

Plans for a memorial service are incomplete at this time.
