Peter Ruffin, age 77, a resident of Patterson, La., died Monday, January 16th 
at his residence in Patterson at 10:10 AM.

Visitation will be at Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, La., Friday, 
January 20, 2012 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 12:00 PM. 
Burial will be in the Patterson Memorial Cemetery.

Milkman leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Brenda Augustine Ruffin of 
Patterson, La; seven sons, Anthony (Samantha) Ruffin of Pierre Part, La., 
Alphonso Ruffin of Patterson, La., Gary (Vanessa) Francois of Lafayette, La., 
Peter Lewis and Timothy Lewis both of California and Jessie Johnson of Franklin, 
La., and Leslie Lewis of Gibson, La., four daughters, Shelia Little of Gibson, 
La., Bernadette McCray of California, La., Gerenda Bradford of Morgan City, La., 
Angela Griffith of Lafayette, La., and four stepdaughters, Christian Boulanger, 
Connie Roberson, Claudine Jennings and Cora Butler all of Patterson, La; one 
brother, Rev. Roosevelt Cox (Gwen) of Woodbridge, NJ; four sisters, Etta 
Bourgeois and Catherine Paul both of Centerville, La., Myrtle Bouttee of 
Patterson, La. and Ida Brown of Houston, Tx., FORTY-TWO grandchildren, TWENTY-
ONE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN and a host of relatives and friends.
