STOCK, DAVID V. 

Funeral services for David V. Stock will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 
2012, at The Pentecostals of Alexandria 
with Rev. Anthony Mangun, Rev. Terry Shock, Terry Wilburn, Lance Harris, Dr. 
Larry Menache and Bettina Roberts officiating. 
Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, 
under the direction of John Kramer & Son.

David V. Stock, 56, of Alexandria, passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at Ochsner 
Foundation Hospital, New Orleans, after a brief illness.

Mr. Stock was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Stock and Nylene Gibson 
Stock.

Mr. Stock and his wife, Glenda, have been the owner/operators of the five 
Alexandria McDonald’s stores since June 1998. 
The Stocks have been very involved in the central Louisiana community. 
David served on the advisory board for People’s State Bank and the board of the 
Boy Scouts of America. He also served as the co-op representative for the 
McDonald’s RLC, advisory board vice chairman for Martin-Brower Company, and 
advisory board vice chairman for Mid South Baking Company. David was also a 
member of Improv Chefs of Alexandria.

David and Glenda enjoyed 28 years of marriage. 
They loved their family and friends beyond words. 
Their McDonald’s family, which numbers in the hundreds, are their children. 
They enjoyed every single day of their lives together and lived them to the 
fullest.

David is survived by his wife of 28 years, Glenda Wilburn Stock of Alexandria; 
and one brother, Kenneth Stock of Parker, Kan.

Pallbearers will be John Carroll, Jeff Marien, Jerry Lee, Clyde Hart, Michael 
Franco, David Dowell, Mike Shelton and Lance Templeton.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at The 
Pentecostals of Alexandria.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Central 
Louisiana Red Cross at 425 Bolton Avenue, Alexandria, LA
