Doris Mae Thibodeaux April 20, 1922 January 9, 2012

Doris Mae Thibodeaux a lifelong resident of Berwick passed away on Monday, 
January 9, 2012 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving 
family. 

Doris was special to so many people. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, 
grandmother, cousin, aunt and friend; she lived all of these roles with 
strength, kindness, love and laughter. She will be sorely missed and always 
remembered.

Doris is survived by her two sons: Barry and wife, Vicki Thibodeaux of Mer 
Rouge and Kurt and Belinda Thibodeaux of Patterson; three daughters: Elaine T. 
Cantrell and husband, Wade of Berwick, Alice T. Begneaud and husband, David of 
Lafayette and Peggy T. Mayeaux and husband, Ben of Lafayette; one sister, Alice 
Jostandt of Conroe, TX; eight grandchildren: Kathy LeCompte, Kevin Thibodeaux, 
Kenny Cornes, John Warner, Seth Warner, Christina Doucet, Steve Thibodeaux and 
Tyler Begneaud along with thirteen great grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Joseph Thibodeaux; her 
parents, Weston and Althea Landry; one daughter, Nancy Warner and one sister, 
Selma Fabre.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 6pm until 9pm with a 
Rosary being prayed at 7:30pm at Twin City Funeral Home and will resume on 
Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the funeral home starting at 8am until 10:30am. A 
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am at St. Stephen's Catholic 
Church in Berwick and she will be 
laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum following the mass.
