Paul "Junior" Wilbert Bergeron, Jr., 63, a lifelong resident of Morgan City 
passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Junior was born on April 18, 1948 in Morgan City the son of Paul W. Bergeron 
Sr. and Genevieve Myers Bergeron.

Paul's favorite things in life were the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers, and 
Patterson football. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He 
didn't do anything or go anywhere without his nephew Brian. Where you saw one 
you saw the other. He lived life always joking and laughing and making others 
laugh. He would bring someone up if they were down as he was always known for 
his jokes and stories from the past. If anyone needed him he was there. He was 
an "important man" to the all time favorite Bayou Country Band. He loved 
country and swamp pop music.

Survivors include one son, Mark W. Bergeron; three sisters, Judy Gagneaux of 
Morgan City, Dianna LaCoste and husband Jeff LaCoste, Sr. of Bayou Vista, 
Barbara Morgan and husband Harvey of Amelia; one brother, Kenneth Bergeron of 
Berwick; companion, Connie Leger of Bayou Vista; four grandchildren, Brittany 
Bergeron, Brennan Bergeron, Shawnah Bergeron, Brianna Bergeron; one great-
grandson, Jayce Grizzaffi; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul W. Bergeron, Sr. and Genevieve 
Myers Bergeron; wife, Kathleen Lasseigne Bergeron; one son, Shawn M. Bergeron; 
one brother, Calvin Bergeron, Sr.; one brother-in-law, R.J. Gagneaux.

Pallbearers will be Justin Voisin, Brennan Bergeron, Calvert LaHoste, Sr., 
Andrew Gros, Jeff LaCoste, Jr., L.J. Girard, Chris Chaisson, Calvin Bergeron, 
Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Gagneaux, Nicholas LaHoste.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 
Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. 
on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will 
resume from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral 
home. 
Junior will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
