Barbara J. Lewis, age 72, a native of Lafayette, La., and a resident of 
Franklin, La. died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 9:31 pm in Lafayette, La. at 
her daughters' residence.

Visitation will be at Triumph Baptist Church, Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 
10:00 AM until funeral at 1:00 PM.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memories; a son, Jarvis Jackson, Sr. of Griffin, 
GA; six daughters, Gwen Roberson of Lafayette, La., Barbara (Buffy) Jackson, 
Jackie Johnson and Karen Johnson all of Houston, TX., Marilyn (Jeff) Philpot of 
Jackson, MS., and Rachel Jackson of Franklin, La; one extended daughter, 
Schuntel (Edward) Turner of New Orleans, La; four stepsons, Michael (Cheryl) 
Lewis of Franklin, La., Frankie (Carolyn) Lewis of Dallas, TX, Don Lewis and 
Willis (Dude) Lewis of Redwood, CA; six brothers, Jessie (Veronica) Davis and 
Charles (Marva) W. Scott of Houston, TX., John (Alice) Jack and Michael Scott 
both of Seattle, WA., Harry Scott of Spokane, WA; and Charlie W. Scott of Baton 
Rouge, La; three sisters, Martha Polidore of Franklin, La., Shirley (Eddie) 
Williams of Houston, TX., and Joyce Davis of Seattle, WA; a godchild, Zuleika 
Polidore of Franklin, La; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren 
and a host of relatives and friends.
