Charles Columbus Nelson, 75, a native of Bloomburg, TX and a resident of Bayou 
Vista passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at his residence.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Dupre Nelson of Bayou Vista; one 
son, Charles J. Nelson and wife, Mary Margaret of Morgan City; one daughter, 
Mary Lynn Nelson Theriot and husband, Wendel of Patterson; eight grandchildren: 
Caleb and Chett Von Buelow, Harley and Layla Nelson, Zachary, Zoey Abby and 
Avery Theriot; two brothers: Lee Nelson and wife, Ellen of Berwick and Jack 
Eubanks Jr. of Hosston, LA; one sister, Carolyn Fontenot and husband, Lee of 
Bayou Vista along with numerous nieces and nephews

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Della Evans 
Nelson; four half-brothers and one half-sister.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced.
