Lennis J. Scully Sr., 72, a native and lifelong resident of Morgan City, and a 
current resident of New Iberia passed away, Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at New 
Iberia Manor North.

Lennis is survive by his three sons, Lennis J. Scully Jr. of Morgan City, Bryan 
P. Scully Sr. and his wife, Lisa, of Morgan City, and Howard J. Scully and his 
wife, Maria, of New Iberia; three sisters, Margaret Leleaux of Avondale, Vina 
Trosclair of Morgan City, and Gayle Scully of Morgan City; a brother-in-law, 
Howard Hebert; a sister-in-law, Collette B. Hebert; six grandchildren, Bryan 
'B.J.' Scully Jr. and his wife, Mikki, Shane Scully, Logan Scully, Nickolaus 
Scully, Noah Scully, and Meaghan Scully; and one great grandchild, Ava Scully.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mary Ann Hebert Scully; his 
son, Chris A. Scully; his father, Hebert Scully; his mother, Mabel Simoneaux; 
seven brothers, Raymond Scully, Reed Scully, Eddie Scully, Hebert Scully Jr., 
Michael Scully, Joseph Scully, and John Scully; and three sister, Shirley 
LeBlanc, Val-Jean Lee, and LuEulla Scully.
