Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at 2:00 PM at 
Ibert's Mortuary for Raymond Adam Verdin, Sr., 65, a native and lifelong 
resident of Franklin, who passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 7:18 PM at 
Franklin Foundation Hospital. 
Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Leona Irene Champlin Verdin of 
Franklin; five children, Raymond Adam Verdin, Jr. and his companion Cherie Marr 
of Baldwin, Kevin Verdin, Sr. and his wife Lori of Baldwin, Deborah Verdin of 
Kaplan, Christopher Verdin and his wife Miranda of West Monroe, and Stephanie 
Verdin of Franklin; one step-son, Jonathan Thibodeaux of Franklin; nine 
grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Ashley, Brandon, Rhiannon, Sadie, Alijah, Seth, 
Josiah, and Nadyah; one brother, Morris Verdin and his wife Karen of Houma; one 
sister, Janet V. Landry of Iowa, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph D. Verdin and Thelma Billiot 
Verdin; three brothers, Joseph Ernest Verdin, Albert Paul Verdin, and John 
Nelson Verdin; and one sister, Marie A. Verdin Leonard.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at Ibert's Mortuary 
from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Verdin, Jr., Kevin Verdin, Sr., Christopher Verdin, 
Dallas Theriot, Brandon Verdin, and Kevin Verdin, Jr.
