Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2012/sm1203.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Monday, March 26, 2012, at 1:00 PM at Calvary Bible Church in Centerville for Mrs. Janice Theriot Sherman, 73, a native of Centerville and longtime resident of Bayou Sale, who passed away Friday, March 23, 2012, at 3:35 AM at her residence. Burial will follow in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Centerville. Rev. Clyde Crappell will officiate the services. Mrs. Janice was the Secretary/Treasurer for the Calvary Bible Church in Centerville. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and gardening, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" J. Sherman of Bayou Sale; two daughters, Stacey S. Guillory and her husband Lawrence of Centerville, and Theri Jo S. Candella and her husband Rhett of Garden City; four brothers, Roy Theriot and his wife Fern of Kingwood, TX, Barney Garrison Theriot, Jr. and his wife Charlene of Erath, Rodney Theriot of New Iberia, and Dalton Theriot and his wife Joyce of New Iberia; three sisters, Raye Dumesnil and her husband Louis of Bayou Sale, Gay Theriot of New Iberia, and Faith Pesson and her husband Lonnie of New Iberia; four grandchildren, Morgan and Sarra Guillory of Centerville, and Cole and Rylie Candella of Garden City; brother-in-law, Jack D. Woolbright of Garden City; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Bradley Sherman (infant) and Robert A. Sherman; her parents, Barney Garrison Theriot, Sr. and Hazel Ashley Theriot; two sisters, Ethel T. Hohnstein and Barbara T. Woolbright. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at Calvary Bible Church from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.
