Gertrude Walker, age 75, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of 
Patterson, La., died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 8:15 PM at her residence.

Gertrude leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, Wendell (Angel) Harris of 
Jeanerette, La., and Danny (Lisa) Harris, Sr., of Patterson, La; six daughters, 
Mrs. David (Angela) Banks of Spring, TX., Rosemary Walker of Thibodaux, La., 
Leonell Walter, Joanell Walker, Hope Walker and Asia Walker all of Patterson, 
La; three brothers, James Morrison, Jr., and Thomas (Sandra) Morrison, Sr. both 
of Patterson, La., and Robert Morrison, Sr., of Santa Barbara, Calif; five 
sisters, Pastor Evelyn Sears of Patterson, La., Pastor Lavin (Marylane) Jones 
of Breaux Bridge, La., Al Josie Harding and Rev. Jack (Marie) Pratt both of 
Morgan City, La; nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and a host 
of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Morrison, Sr., husband, Lionel 
Walker, and a sister, Albertha Jones.
