Visitation will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 415 Union St., in Morgan City, La., Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 9:30 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery. Fulton Mitchell Washington, III affectionately known as “POOH" was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fulton Mitchell Washington, Jr. (Elaine Diggs Washington), of Morgan City, LA. Fulton graduated from his beloved Alma Mater,Morgan City High School in 1991. He went on to Psychology at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA., and graduated in 2003. Fulton earned his Master's Degree in School Counseling in 2009 from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. He worked as an Educator in St. Mary Parish Schools; St. Mary Parish Alternative School in Franklin, La., and B.E. Boudreaux Middle School in Baldwin, La., and Certified Youth Counselor until 2010. Fulton also was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (Houma-Thibodaux) and 100 Black Men of St. Mary Parish. Fulton, III, leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Elaine Diggs Washington of Gibson, La., his sister, Michelle Lynette Washington of Houston, TX; his godmother, Constance Hulbert of Morgan City, La; his godchildren, Joseph Johnson, IV., of Morgan City, La., Tyler Anthony Zeno of Houston, TX., and Jade Giselle Breaux of Baton Rouge, La., as well as his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and myriad friends. Fulton, III was preceded in death by his dutiful father, Fulton Mitchell Washington, Jr., his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fulton Mitchell Washington, Sr. (Mamie Watson), Mr. and Mrs. Wellington Diggs (Evelyn Nisby) and his godfather, Clarence Diggs. ===================
