Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Mr. Louie A. 
Barnett, Sr., 76, a native of Fort Sam Houston, TX and a longtime resident of 
Websterville, who passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012, at 5:20 PM at the 
Franklin Health Care Center.

Louie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, 
fishing, and Louisiana life. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having 
served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division out of Fort Bragg, NC.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Reba Willard Barnett of Websterville; 
one daughter, Sharon Denise Gauthier and her husband Sidney of Franklin; one 
son, Louie A. Barnett, Jr. of Jeanerette; one grandson, Terry Caudill, Jr. of 
Jeanerette; and two sisters, Carolyn and Patricia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie Monroe Barnett and Mary Louise 
McDonald; one grandson, Jason M. Caudill; and one brother, James B. Barnett.
