BARRAS, JOYCE M. 
(February 10, 1941 - April 15, 2012)

Joyce M. Barras 71, a resident of Patterson passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, 
at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Joyce was born on February 10, 1941 in Morgan City the daughter of Jesse T. 
Barras and Cecile Imelda Verret.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sisters, Virgie 
Crappell of Branch, LA, Hilda Daigle of Bayou Vista, Charlotte Pennison and 
husband Louis of Bayou L'Ourse; one brother, Melvin Barras and wife Dorsey of 
Bayou Vista; one sister-in-law, Flavia Barras and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse T. Barras and Cecile Imelda 
Verret; two brothers, Gilman Barras and Horace Barras; one nephew Edward 
Daigle, Jr.; one great-nephew Jean' Daigle.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 
Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. 
on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Twin City Funeral Home and visitation will 
resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral 
home. 
Joyce will be laid to rest in Ibert's Memorial Park.
