MOSELY, REV. DR. FREDDIE LEE 
(September 9, 1948 - April 27, 2012)

Rev. Dr. Freddie Lee Mosely, age 63, a resident of Houma, LA and native of New 
Orleans, LA died Friday, April 27, 2012 at Terrebone General Hospital in Houma, 
LA.

Rev. Dr. Mosely is suvived by his wife, Michelle Mitchell; his mother, Elvina 
Mosely; four sons: Calvin Mosely of Gibson, Freddie Mosely, Jr. of Lake 
Charles, Stephen Mosely and Joshua Mosely of Houma. Three daughters: Bretlan 
Warrell of New Orleans, Stephanie Mosely and Deannea Mosely of Houma. Seven 
grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by his father, Theolopus Mosely, three brothers and three 
sisters.

Rev. Dr. Mosely received a degree from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, 
LA and Doctoral Degree in Theology from Christian Bible College in Baton Rouge, 
LA. 
He was an instructor at the Christian Bible College in Houma, LA and employed 
at the Department of Interior for thirty two years, Federal Inspector for the 
Gulf of Mexico Region. He was also known as "Shut Them Down Freddie" or "Shut 
In Freddie". Rev. Dr. Mosely was also an Assistant Pastor at New St. Matthews 
Baptist Church in Matthews, LA.
