She was born on February 19, 1934, in Wilton, Wis. She was a resident of Centerville, having formerly lived in De Leon, Texas. She is survived by her husband, John W. Owens of Centerville; their children, Joyce Byrd of Kingswood, Texas, Pamela Naquin and husband Glenn of Baldwin, Diana Morrison and husband Johnny of Texarkana, Ark., John W. Owens II and wife Julie Bertrand Owens of Centerville; her grandchildren, Christy Cousins and husband Craig of Kingswood, Texas, Allison Zijlstra and husband Emiel of the Netherlands, Vanessa Farmer and husband Jeff of Kingswood, Texas, Jeremy Byrd of Kingswood, Texas, Erin Naquin of Baldwin, Michelle Breland and husband Scott of Charenton, Robert Naquin and wife Jennifer of Franklin, Dillon Morrison and wife Elisha of Little Rock, Ark., Leah Morrison of Fayetteville, Ark., Kayla Morrison of Arkadelphia, Ark., Rachelle Jackson and husband Jamie of Patterson, Jaslyn Powell and husband Joshua of Marrero, and Halley Morgan and husband Spencer of Kent, Wash.; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Zeta Foster and Sharon Gartman of Illinois, Sue Brown and husband Burdette of Wisconsin, Nardena Brown and husband Jerry of Missouri; and one brother, Frederick Hardt and wife Lou of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Fritz; her father, Otto Robert Hardt; her brother, Buster Hardt; and her grandparents. Dona loved her church, children and grandchildren. She was an avid reader and loved to crochet. Funeral services were held Friday, April 20, 2012, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in De Leon, Texas. Graveside services were in De Leon Cemetery. Nowlin Anders Funeral Home, 340 South Austin St., De Leon, TX 76444, was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to send donations to Calumet Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 776, Patterson, LA 70392, in memory of Dona. ===================
