TRAN, MAO THI 
February 2, 1918 - April 19, 2012

A Mass of Christian burial will held Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 10:00 AM at 
Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Mrs. Mao Thi Tran, 94, a 
native of Bui Chu, North Vietnam and a resident of Amelia, who passed away 
Thursday, April 19, 2012 at New Iberia Manor South. Fr. Tin Anthony Nguyen and 
Fr. Thomas Vu will officiate the Mass. 
Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Survivors include four children, Luot Tran of Franklin, Nhieu Tran of Vietnam, 
Sau Tran of Vietnam, and Phuoc Tran of Amelia; 24 grandchildren; and numerous 
great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Man V. Tran; one daughter, La Tran; 
two brothers, Trac Tran and Mui Tran; one sister, Hoa Tran; one grandson, Quyen 
Nguyen; and her parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, April 27, at Ibert's 
Mortuary beginning at 4:00 PM with Mass at 6:00 PM, officiated by Fr. Joseph 
Tran and Fr. Thomas Vu. Visiting will resume at the mortuary Saturday from 8:00 
AM until dismissal at 9:00 AM. The rosary will be prayed Saturday at 9:30 AM at 
Sacred Heart prior to the Mass.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary Inc., 1007 Main St., 
Franklin, LA
