BLACK, MICHAEL, SR.

Mr. Michael David Black Sr., 57, a resident and native of Berwick, died Sunday, 
May 20, 2012, at 12:15 a.m. following a short illness.

He is survived by his mother, Vera Lee Clark Black of Berwick; one son, Michael 
David Black Jr. of Patterson; one brother, Clarence Black Jr. and his wife, 
Shirley, of Berwick; five sisters, Mary Ann Henderson and husband, Rev. Harold 
Sr., of Berwick, Ruth Marie Black of Berwick, Deirdre Lee Robinson and husband, 
Robert, of Harker Heights, Texas, Colleen Ann Roberson of Decatur, Georgia and 
Leslie Ann Sanford of Mesquite, Texas.

Mr. Black was preceded in death by his father.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, May 26, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. 
John Baptist Church in Berwick.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
Louis Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Berwick Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
