BROWN, ISSAC, SR.
(May 6, 1935 - May 8, 2012)

Isaac Brown, age 77, a native of Ashton, La., and a resident of Franklin, La., 
died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at his residence at 9:15 AM.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Macedonia Baptist Church in 
Ashton, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Issac leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Elizabeth R. Brown of Franklin, 
La; seven sons, Edmond Ray Roberson of Baldwin, Michael J. Brown of Charleston, 
S.C., Issac Brown, Jr., of Orange, TX., Kenneth John Brown of Carencro, Donald 
Brown of Atlanta, Edward Brown and Paul Wayne Brown both of Franklin; two 
brothers, Marcus Jones, Jr., of Morgan City, La., and Lawrence Jones of Four 
Corners; three sisters, Carrie Brown Phillips and Eural Lee Jones-Smith both of 
New Iberia, La., and Ommil "Alma" Holmes of Beaumont, TX; twenty-five 
grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a host of relatives and 
friends.

Issac was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie (Son-Brown) and Elra Marie 
Lewis Jones; two sons, Robert Joseph Robertson and Murphy R. Yeggins; a 
brother, Alex Brown and a sister, Gladys Brown.
