All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= NOTE: If a Photo is available for an obituary record, a reference note will be included with the record. ======================================================================= BURLEIGH, TONI GARLOTTE Dec. 12, 1949 ~ May 20, 2012 A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 1 p.m., at St. Jules Catholic Church for Mrs. Toni Garlotte Burleigh, 62, a native and a lifelong resident of Franklin, who passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Franklin Foundation Hospital. Burial will follow in the St. Jules Cemetery. Father Thomas Vu will officiate the services. Toni was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong member of St. Jules Catholic Church where she volunteered her help in many ways. She also babysat for over 20 years for many people in Franklin, enjoyed playing bingo and loved baking cakes and pies for family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Jimmie G. Burleigh Sr. of Franklin; one son, Jimmie G. Burleigh Jr. of Woodville, Mississippi; one daughter, Brandy Burleigh of Franklin; her mother, Gloria Dumesnil Garlotte of Franklin; one brother, Joseph (Joey) A. Garlotte III and his wife, Gina, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; four sisters, Gloria (Lulu) Greaux and her husband, Manley, of Franklin, Janice Peltier and her husband, Glenn, of Franklin, Patti Boothe of Franklin and Michele Chauvin and her husband, Ron, of Franklin; four grandchildren, Mackenzie Burleigh of Franklin, Christian Burleigh, Autumn Stout and Peyton Stout, all of Woodville, Mississippi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph A. Garlotte Jr. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at St. Jules from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 1 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Garlotte, Jonathan Hebert, Jodi Bourliea, Blaine Peltier, Glenn Peltier, Frank Greaux, Ron Chauvin, Sammy Louviere and David Rogers. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to help alleviate funeral expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin. ===================
