CHAISSON, ANNA M. SMITH 
April 20, 1931 — May 23, 2012

Anna M. Smith Chaisson, born in St. Martinville and a resident of Morgan City, 
passed away with her loved ones by her side at Ochsner of Baton Rouge on 
Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

Anna will be remembered for her generosity and kind-hearted disposition.

Anna is survived by her son, Timothy Chaisson and daughter-in-law Frances 
Nelson Chaisson; her daughter, Gayle Landry and son-in-law Johnny B. Landry; 
and her six precious grandchildren, Jonathon Landry, Jarrad Landry, Johannah 
Landry, Scott Chaisson, Megan Chaisson and Tracy Souza. She was also the proud 
great-grandmother of nine.

Anna is also survived by her sisters, Irene Thibodeaux, Carol Robin, Lois Smith 
and Beverly Arcement; and her brothers, Marvin Smith, Rodney Smith, Dale Smith 
and Raeford Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Chaisson; and her grandson, 
Kevin Chaisson.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a loving mother, wife, 
sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and a dear friend.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012, beginning at 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 
Hargrave Funeral Home. Services will be conducted in the Hargrave Funeral Home 
chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012. 
Anna will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
