Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, May 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. Burial will be in Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Shane A. Cheramie and wife Ray Ann of Houma; a daughter, Selena Cheramie Shannon and husband Casey of Berwick; grandchildren, Sarah Marie Domangue, Rebecca Ann Domangue, Brady Timothy Shannon, and Shane Julian Cheramie and wife Rebecca; step-grandchildren, Jacob Micheal Broussard and John Micheal Broussard; step-great-grandchild, McKenzie Miller; and a sister, Phyllis Pitre Zullo and husband Ernie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Joseph Cheramie; and her parents, Joseph Anthony Pitre and Bella Elizabeth Arcement Pitre. She was a retired medical transcriptionist at Terrebonne General Medical Center. Dolores, also known as “Granny,” was a kind and loving person and enjoyed anytime spent with her family.
