Jody attended Patterson High School and worked as a heavy equipment operator for most of his life, lastly working for Glenn Lege Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. Jody loved his daughters and family, and was a very devoted fiancé. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held Monday, May 21, 2012, at Martin & Castille’s downtown Lafayette location, 5-8 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a graveside memorial service at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery in Patterson. Survivors include his fiancé, Charlotte Yeager of Broussard; two daughters, Sierra Domingue and her fiancé John, and Chantel Ficke of Knoxville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Aaliyah Maples and Nolan Domingue; his parents, Larry and Gayle Blanchard Domingue Sr. of Patterson; two brothers, Tony Domingue and his wife Bobbie of Bayou Vista and Scott Domingue and his wife Sabrina of Patterson; nephews, Blaine Domingue and Luke Domingue; nieces, Hallie Domingue, Hannah Domingue and Kristin Aman and her husband Eugene; and great-nieces, Christina Aman and Allie Aman. ===================
