Mary M. DuFresne, formerly of Granite Shoals, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012, in Fredericksburg, Texas. She was born in Scranton, Pa., on Dec. 18, 1919, to Anthony and Olga Rostkowski. As a homemaker she enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a faithful Christian and had attended St. John’s Catholic Church in Marble Falls before moving to Fredericksburg. Survivors include a son, Gerald DuFresne and wife Angela of Morgan City; a daughter, Jeannie Gruetzner and husband David of Granite Shoals, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Pamela DuFresne of Port Bolivar, Texas; a grandson, Thomas DuFresne and wife Amy of Wisconsin; her granddaughters, Marilyn DuFresne of Minnesota and Rachel Gruetzner of Florida; and her great-grandchildren, Bobby DuFresne and Billy DuFresne, both of Wisconsin, and Nathan Gruetzner of Washington. Mary is also survived by other relatives and an extended family and friends at Windcrest Nursing Home in Fredericksburg, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert DuFresne; and her son, Timothy DuFresne. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with a Rosary following at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with Father Jairo Lopez officiating. Interment will follow at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
