A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, May 4, 2012, at 2:00 PM at St. 
Jules Catholic Church in Franklin for Sadie Dugas Mendoza, 100, a native of St. 
Martinville, former resident of Franklin, and resident of New Iberia, who 
passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at New Iberia Manor North in New Iberia. 

Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. 
Father Thomas Vu will be the celebrant of the Mass.

Survivors include her nephews, Wallace J. Bonin, Jr. and his wife Carolyn, and 
David Bonin, both of New Iberia; her nieces, Jane Dugas and Shirley Fox, both 
of New Iberia; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Cifrid J. Mendoza; her 
parents, Frank and Therese Wiltz Dugas; brothers, Earl, Howard, Donald, Harold, 
and Frank Dugas; and sister, Enola "Belle" Dugas Penn.

The family requests that visitation be observed at St. Jules Catholic Church in 
Franklin on Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main St., 
Franklin, LA
