Rita is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Alois J. (Butz) Binder Jr.; three children and their spouses, Pamela (Pam) B. Lincoln, wife of Kenneth C. Lincoln, Janice (Jan) B. James Von Hoven, wife of Frank P. Von Hoven Jr. and Dr. Alois (Jay) Binder III, husband of DeAnna Binder; grandchildren, Cory T. James, Kristen M. James, Kelsey M. Binder, Andrew J. Binder and Frank P. Von Hoven III, a great granddaughter, Addison Lynn James and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Rita was a multiple sport athlete and a graduate of Francis T. Nicholls High School, a member of the U. S. Army Junior Waacs, a friend of Bill W. for 25 years and a proud member of the Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvina Agnes Savoye Stouff and Octave Pierre Stouff Sr. a brother, Octave Pierre Stouff Jr. and a sister, Lenora Stouff Wellmeyer Troyer Daigle. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans, La. Visitation will be on Friday, June 29, 2012 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and on Saturday, June 30, 2012 beginning at 9:00 a.m. to the celebration of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum.
