HEBERT Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Alvin P. Boudreaux Sr., the former Vernice Eve Hebert, 88, at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Jeanerette, with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Visitations will resume Thursday, from 8 a.m. until service time. A native of Iberia Parish and longtime resident of Franklin, Mrs. Boudreaux died Sunday, June 24, 2012, at 10:53 a.m., in a Franklin health care facility. She enjoyed gardening and loved to cook and spend time with her family. Survivors include her children, Timothy P. Boudreaux and Glenn J. Boudreaux and wife, Paddy, both of Franklin; Keith P. Boudreaux and wife, Madeline, of Baldwin; and Brenda B. Mason and husband, Jimmy, of Mississippi; two sisters, Diane H. Rosamond and husband, J.B., of Jeanerette; and Amy H. Crochet of New Iberia; and a brother, E.J. Hebert Jr. of Gray; seven grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Paul Boudreaux Sr.; her parents, Edwin J. and Marguerite Chapman Hebert; one son, Alvin P. Boudreaux Jr.; one brother, Roy Hebert; and a sister, Betty Hebert. Pallbearers will be Timothy, Glenn, Keith and Chad Boudreaux, E.J. Hebert Jr. and J.B. Rosamond. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Mason, Joey and Jason Rosamond and Kevin Crochet. David Funeral Home, 400 Provost St., Jeanerette, is in charge of arrangements. ===================
