GUIDRY, GLENN D. 
January 4, 1945 — June 13, 2012

Glenn D. Guidry, a resident of Morgan City, passed away June 13, 2012, in 
Morgan City at the age of 67.

Glenn was the owner of Gator Marine, and was a port captain for Berwick Bay Oil 
for many years. Glenn enjoyed the outdoors and spending time at the camp with 
his son Greg. He was a duck hunter and a fisherman, a great cook, and loved 
spending time with his family.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 41 wonderful years, Sheila Rhodes Guidry of 
Morgan City; his son, Greg Guidry of Morgan City; his father, Edward Paul 
Guidry of Morgan City; his sisters, Mary Gaudet and her husband Gene of Morgan 
City, Maxine Brown and her husband Pat of Bayou L’Ourse and Lynette Aulds and 
her husband Randy of Stephensville; his sisters-in-law, Dolores Fears and her 
husband Chop of Stephensville, Pamela Bordelon and her husband Wiley of Berwick 
and Rebecca Kuhn and her husband Darrell of Bayou L’Ourse; his brothers-in-law, 
Clyde Rhodes and his wife Nancy of Morgan City, Nathan Rhodes of Morgan City, 
Kenneth Rhodes and his wife Betsy of Morgan City and Kim Rhodes and his wife 
Cynthia of Bayou Vista.

Glenn was preceded in death by his son, David Guidry; his mother, Barbara 
Boudreaux Guidry; his mother-in-law, Sylvia Rhodes; and his father-in-law, 
Davis Rhodes.

Visitation will be held today, June 14, 2012, at Hargrave Funeral Home, 6-10 
p.m., and continuing Friday, June 15, 2012, at Hargrave Funeral Home, 10 a.m. 
until 2 p.m. Funeral services will be at Hargrave Funeral Home at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Greg Guidry (son), Lee Rhodes (nephew), Jay Rhodes 
(nephew), Chad Fears (nephew), Jason Thompson (nephew) and Travis Romero 
(nephew). 
Mr. Glenn will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
