MADISE, DAISY MAE DAVIS 

Daisy Mae Davis-Madise, 78, a native and resident of Morgan City, died June 6 
at 12:45 p.m. at her residence.

Visitation will be held Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 415 Union 
St., Morgan City, beginning at 8 a.m., with readings at noon, until the funeral 
mass at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Survivors include her eight children, Carolyn Davis Thomas, Mary Watson and 
Joseph Peter Madise, all of Morgan City, Florence V. Madise and Debra Myers, 
both of Berwick, Ellen Darnell and Monica Jones, both of Patterson, and Norbert 
Eugene Madise of Baldwin; her sister, Maxine Tripplet of San Diego, Calif.; 10 
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, 
relatives and friends.

Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters, a 
brother, a granddaughter and other relatives. A grandson has since died.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
