REEDOM, JAMES JOSEPH, JR.

James Joseph Reedom Jr., 58, a native of New Iberia and resident of Morgan 
City, died Monday at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.

Visitation will be held Saturday, 9-11 a.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel in 
Franklin. Burial rites will be read at the chapel Saturday at 11 a.m., with the 
Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will be in Morgan City Cemetery.

He is survived by eight brothers, Alton Livas and Tip Knight, both of Morgan 
City, Shelby Reedom of Warner Robins, Ga., Edwin Reedom of Delanco, N.J., 
Renwick Reedom of Apopka, Fla., Darryl Livas of Los Angeles, and Ernest Livas 
Sr. and Tony Mark Harris, both of San Antonio; and eight sisters, Audrey Davis 
of Morgan City, Roma Reedom and Nekeia Roby, both of New Orleans, Vanessa R. 
Keller of Houma, Tanya Green of Houston, Beverly Livas of Rowlett, Texas, and 
Jolette Williams and Donna Livas, both of San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Otis Mortuary Inc. of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
