Helen was born Oct. 24, 1931, in Pierre Part, the daughter of Alfred and Mary Domingue Grandin. Helen had a love for crocheting and was famous for her cooking. She loved spending time with her family and was a faithful parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 64 years, Anthony Billiot of Bayou Vista; five children, Kenneth Billiot and wife Sue Monceaux Billiot of Smithville, Ark., Gordon Billiot and wife Peggy Hebert Billiot of Patterson, Patricia Rock and husband Rusty of Morgan City, Goldie Vantromp and husband Jared of Berwick and Rickey Billiot of Youngsville. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two-great- great-grandchildren; and one sister, Loretta Grandin Been and husband Don of Laurel, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mary Domingue Grandin; one daughter, Priscilla Billiot; two granddaughters, Christen Vaught and Nicole Rock; three brothers, Joseph Grandin, Jeffrey Grandin and Anthony Grandin; and two sisters, Annalee Grandin and Rita Mae Clark. Mass of Christian burial was held at 2 p.m. today, Monday, July 30, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. today, Monday, July 30, 2012, at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m. Helen was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
