BROWN, FAY GAUTREAU 

Fay Gautreau Brown, 86, died peacefully at her residence on Thursday, July 12, 
2012.

A native of Patterson and longtime resident of Franklin, Fay was born to Alvan 
Paul Gautreau and Marie Stella Seghers Gautreau and married Dr. Hilton J. Brown 
on Aug. 12, 1950.

She is survived by son, Patrick Brown of Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Hilton J. Brown; one son, Robert 
Allan Brown; her parents, Alvan Paul Gautreau and Marie Stella Seghers 
Gautreau; two sisters, Carmen Augusta Gautreau and Marilyn G. Bigler; and an 
infant brother.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 at St. 
Mary Episcopal Church in Franklin from noon until service time at 2 p.m. 
Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. 
The Rev. Calvin Lane, Ph.D. will officiate the services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Episcopal Church or to 
St. Mary Humane Society.
