SAM, SHIRLEY 

Shirley Sam, 74, a resident of Birmingham, Alabama and native of Jeanerette, 
died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 14, at Jones Funeral Home in Jeanerette, from 
9 a.m. until funeral service at 1 a.m.

Burial will follow in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memories one son, Keith Sam of Birmingham; one 
brother, Raymond Sam of Jeanerette; three sisters, Gloria Provost of 
Birmingham, Martha Cashmere of Oklahoma and Annie Keal of Jeanerette; five 
grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City/ Jeanerette/ Franklin is in charge of 
arrangements.
