Glenda was born January 1, 1950 in Ville Platte, to Earlon and Velta Arnaud. She was preceded in death by her mother and is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Stone; daughters, Brooke and husband, Neil Chaffee, and Lauren Leskinen; step children, Andrea and husband, Patrick Bekurs, and Greg Stone; grandchildren, Devyn and Travis Chaffee and Ethan Bekurs; father, Earlon Arnaud; sisters, Rita Arnaud and Julie and husband, David Cordova. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Glenda was raised in Franklin and lived in Lafayette before moving to Houston where she spent the last 25 years. Glenda loved to cook, travel and read. Above all she was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who adored spending time with her family. The Stone family will be present to receive friends Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a Vigil Service beginning at 6:30 p.m., at D.M. Dettling Funeral Directors, 14094 Memorial Dr. at Kirkwood. The Funeral Mass will commence Friday, July 27, 2012, at 1 p.m., at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, Texas 77079. Burial will follow via escorted cortege at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine in Houston. ===================
