WALLACE, PRENTISS, SR.

Prentiss Wallace Sr., a native of Crystal Springs, Miss., and a resident of 
Houma, died Monday at 10:30 a.m. at his residence.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Houma Kingdom Hall of 
Jehovah’s Witnesses, La. 311. Services will be held at 1 p.m. 
Burial will be in the Woodlawn Ranch in Houma.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley “Sue” Johnson Wallace of Houma; three sons, 
Prentiss Wallace Jr. of Byram, Miss., Shane Sanders of Thibodaux and Wendell 
Shelby-Wallace of Houma; one daughter, Tiffany Purnell of Jackson, Miss.; one 
brother, Alfred Young of Jackson, Miss.; three sisters, Regina Jackson of 
Hattiesburg, Miss., Chandra Floyd of Decatur, Ga., and Sherry Wallace of 
Flowood, Miss.; three grandchildren; one godchild; five aunts; five uncles; and 
a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, and an uncle.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
