All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= NOTE: If a Photo is available for an obituary record, a reference note will be included with the record. ======================================================================= MAKIN, ANN SCELFO April 24, 1960 ~ Aug. 23, 2012 A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, August 24, 2012, at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin at 2 p.m., for Ann Scelfo Makin, 52, a Franklin native and resident of Morgan City for the past 23 years, who passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012, at 3:40 a.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. Ann leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Donnie Makin of Morgan City; her three children, Aimee B. Macias and her husband, Juan Macias, of San Diego, California; Andrea A. Bourgeois of Morgan City and her fiancé, Hugo Taylor, of Morgan City; and Adam Bourgeois and his wife, Tyjanna Bourgeois of San Diego, California; six siblings, Cindy J. Campanile of Orange Beach, Alabama; Harris John of Jeanerette; Mark John of Franklin; Bill John of Broussard; Mary Scelfo of Houma; and Paul Scelfo of Thibodaux; seven grandchildren, Abigael and Ezekiel Macias, Breanna Daigle, Angela Hardy, Aiden Taylor, and Akemi and Maci Bourgeois; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Scelfo Jr. and Juanita Hebert Scelfo; and one brother, Richard Michael John. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, August 23, 2012, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., with the rosary being prayed at 11 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin. ===================
