RICHARDSON, HENRY, JR.

Mr. Henry Richardson Jr., 95, a resident of Baldwin and native of Verdunville, 
died Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at 2:15 a.m., at the Franklin Health Care 
Center following a short illness.

He is survived by three sons, H. Melvin Richardson and wife, Carolyn, of 
Belaire, Texas; Vernon J. Richardson of Dallas, Texas; and Ray N. Richardson 
and wife, Linda, of Richaardson, Texas; one daughter, Martha A. Richardson of 
Baldwin; two brothers, James Richardson of Houston, Texas and George Roosevelt 
Lyons of Temple, Texas; four sisters, Esther Gabriel of Shreveport, Lucille 
McCoy and Octavia Peoples of St. Louis, Missouri and Thelma Richardson of 
Stafford, Virginia; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his parents, wife and four brothers.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, August 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at 
the Trinity United Methodist Church in Baldwin.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
Barry Whittington officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Special Providence Cemetery in Baldwin.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
