THOMPSON, MAZIE MARIE 
June 19, 1953 — July 27, 2012

Mazie Marie Thompson, 59, a native of Morgan City and resident of Berwick, 
passed away Monday, July 27, 2012, at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Mazie is survived by her daughter, Mary Jones and husband Steve of Morgan City; 
two sons, Henry Hebert Jr. of Bayou Vista and Daniel Hebert and wife Robin of 
Montz; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Allison, Antonio, Kobe, Devin, Kasidy, 
Tre’, Layna and Olivia; three great-grandchildren, Ja’layna, Ma’leiyah and 
Camille; seven sisters, Evelyn Ribardi, Edna Ribardi, Barbara Brown and husband 
Bruce, Susie Stratton and husband “Bee Bee,” Rhonda Wirtz and husband Gregg, 
Gloria Ribardi and Linda Dehart and husband Freeman; two brothers, Eddie 
Ribardi and John Ribardi and wife Bonnie; one sister-in-law, Irene Ribardi; and 
a host of nieces and nephews.

Mazie was preceded in death by her parents, David and Agnes Ribardi; her 
husband, Henry Hebert Sr.; one brother, David Ribardi Jr.; one grandson, 
Stedarrio “Mario” Jones; and her companion, Benjamin Griffin.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at Twin City Funeral Home 
beginning at 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. with a service beginning at 1:30 p.m. 

The family will hold a private burial at a later date.
