BOSWELL, BRENDA GOVERNALE 
(November 15, 1947 - September 2, 2012)

Brenda Margaret Governale Boswell, 64, a native of Morgan City and a resident 
of Berwick went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Sunday, 
September 2, 2012 at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Brenda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. 
She looked forward to each day so she could spend time or talk with them. She 
loved to laugh and have a really good time, and she also enjoyed shopping, 
decorating, and going to the casino. Brenda was such a delight to be around; 
she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her three daughters: Lindie Adams Pittman and husband, Lloyd 
III of Morgan City, Melissa Adams Seely and husband, Gerry of Berwick and Erin 
Adams Toups and husband, Perry Sr. of Berwick; six grandchildren: Michael 
Carbonell Jr., Christopher Carbonell, Sarah Carbonell, Ashlyn Kirby, Perry 
Toups Jr. and Dylan Toups; one great grandchild, Michael Carbonell III; two 
sisters: Dolores Governale Henry of Houma and Cathy Governale Jett and husband, 
Jimmy of Abbeville.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Lila Logan Governale

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church from 9am until 10am with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 10am. 

Brenda's final resting place will be in Morgan City Cemetery.
