RHINE, MARTIN L. 

Martin L. Rhine, 31, a native of Sorrell and a resident of Houston, Texas, died 
September 1, 2012 at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in Houston.

He was baptized at an early age. 
Martin graduated from West St. Mary High School. 
He became employed at St. Mary Sugar Co-Op.

Visitation will be at Moses Baptist Church in Sorrell Saturday, September 15, 
from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. 

Burial will follow in the Sorrell Community Cemetery 

under the direction of Jones Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Georgette Carter Rhine; one 
brother, Danason Rhine Jr. of New Iberia; one sister, Laquitha Rhine; a sister-
in-law; three nieces; two nephews; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rhine; 
and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and maternal grandparents.

Jones Funeral Home of Franklin/ Morgan City/ Jeanerette is in charge of 
arrangements.
