Scott Bullock, Pastor, and the Rev. Herbert E. Green Sr. officiating. He will await the resurrection at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday for a Musical at Fletcher Funeral Home, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will begin on Saturday at the funeral home 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A native of Galveston, Texas and resident of Jeanerette, he passed at 3:08 a.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He leaves to cherish his memory and in God’s care his parents, Pastor Willie Roman Jr., and Mrs. Barbara J. Roman of Jeanerette; three brothers, Jeffrey Roman (Cherise) of Franklin, James Roman (Christine) and Darius Roman (Shequilla) of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Julia Sinegal (Herbert) of Carencro; a play sister, Kimberly Shields of Jeanerette; and two special friends, Lakeisha Harding and Glenda Grimm of Lafayette; his godchildren, Amber Martin and Darian Alexander; godmother, Lucille Bradley of New Iberia; a step grandmother, Gloria Johnson of New Iberia; mentors, Mrs. Anna F. Minor and Mrs. Evelyn Jones of Jeanerette; and a host of nieces, nephews, many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. He now joins in glory with his maternal grandmother, Annie Mae Landor Johnson; maternal grandfather, John C. Johnson; paternal grandmother, Arthine Tillman Roman and paternal grandfather, Willie Roman Sr. Final arrangements entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Home, 609 W.
