BOITEAUX, DAVID ARTHUR 
March 20, 1955 ~ Sept. 30, 2012

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012, at 1 p.m., at Ibert’s 
Mortuary in Franklin for David Arthur “Grasshopper” Boiteaux, 57, a native and 
lifelong resident of Franklin, who passed away Sunday evening, September 30, 
2012, at his brother’s home in Verdunville following a courageous battle with 
cancer.

Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. 
Chaplain Ken Dupre, with Journey Hospice, will officiate the services.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Anna Mae Rogers Boiteaux Trosclair 
and Percy Trosclair of Franklin; five siblings, Louis “Poochie” Boiteaux Jr. of 
Verdunville, Darrell Boiteaux of Garden City, Bobby Boiteaux of Lake Charles, 
Maxine Trosclair of Franklin and Donald Trosclair of Louisa; his good friend, 
Bill Matthewson of Franklin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Boiteaux Sr.; as well as numerous 
aunts and uncles.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert’s Mortuary 
from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc., of Franklin.
